Peavey Sponsors Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue

Peavey Electronics® recently sponsored the 26th annual Jack Daniel's® World Championship Invitational Barbecue. Barbecue teams, judges and 25,000 fans from around the world gathered on Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Lynchburg, TN to celebrate barbecue culture, music and more.  After heated competition between some of the world’s most renowned barbecue chefs, Des Moines, Iowa’s Smokey D’s Barbecue emerged as Grand Champions.

In addition to taking home top honors, Smokey D’s also received $10,000 and a Peavey JD-AG3™ Jack Daniel's® acoustic guitar autographed by Peavey Electronics Founder and CEO Hartley Peavey, Jack Daniels 7th Master Distiller Jeff Arnett, and performing artists Keith Anderson and Kyle Jacobs. Musical guests for the event included country music stars Keith Anderson, Kyle Jacobs and Kacey Smith. Centered around the high fidelity Peavey Versarray™ line array, all stage audio was provided by Peavey Electronics in partnership with KK’s Music of Tullahoma and Manchester, TN.
