Thanks to Pearl Artist, Nate Morton and his recently released drum-cam footage, you can now experience the thrill of banging away to the millions of viewers that tune into the NBC show, The Voice. The footage shows Nate performing the Sting classic, “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You” during Monday’s Top 12 Elimination Round, backing show competitor Brian Johnson.
Although Nate Morton changes between eight different Pearl drum sets on the Voice – ranging from the Vision Series to the Masterworks Series – Nate opted for his latest addition for this particular performance, a Masters Birch BCX kit in Lava Bubinga (818). Nate Morton’s Masters BCX drum kit is designed for upstage use – placed on a mobile drum riser for performances where Nate plays a more prominent role in the performance – and consists of a slimmed down configuration compared to his main-stay Ocean Sparkle Reference Pure setup, which is his primary drum kit on The Voice. More information on Nate Morton, including full kit specs, can be found here.
Nate Morton’s playing can be seen on The Voice, which airs on Monday and Tuesday nights, at 8/7c, on NBC. View his drum-cam footage here: pearldrum.com/news-events/artist-news/nate-morton-shares-drum-cam-footage-from-the-voice
