John Maher’s Wife Ill, Help Needed

We recently received the following message from former MMR publisher, Sidney Davis:

John Maher had a long and varied career in the music product industry starting with St. Louis Music he represented many major companies in sales and marketing capacities and it was hard to miss John at a NAMM show.

He often appeared pumping a vintage keyboard, wearing a derby or straw hat and always with a smile on his face.  A few years back John left the travelling life and settled in Petaluma, creating a new business life as “Petaluma Pete,” street performer, entertainer and unofficial ambassador for the town.  At the same time his wife developed a thriving antique business.  In recent days Brenda Maher learned she has stage 4 cancer; the business has been liquidated and their entire focus is on her health.  John’s sister recently created a go fund me account to help the family through the days ahead.  John has not asked, but he needs our help.  Click on gofundme, Brenda Maher (French Hen Antiques).
