Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • June 15, 2017

On June 20, Roland Corporation U.S. will be hosting members of the Playing For Change Foundation’s international band on a special Facebook Live performance and fundraiser.

Viewers can tune in at 3 p.m. PDT on the Roland Facebook page to check out the performance and make donations, which will go towards the organization’s work in providing free music, dance, and language classes.

Members of the band scheduled to perform include Clarence Bekker (Netherlands), Mermans Mosengo (Congo), Jason Tamba (Congo),  Tal Ben Ari “Tula” (Israel), Ruth Tsira “Titi” (South Africa), Keiko Komaki (Japan), Juan Carlos Portillo (Venezuela),  Pablo Correa (Colombia), Robin Moxey (USA), and Mathieu Aupitre “Mateo” (France).

Roland is the foundation’s first-ever official musical instrument partner and will supply rehearsal facilities and a variety of instruments to the musicians.
