PRS Guitars EarthQuaker Day Riff Contest Kicks Off This May

EarthQuaker Devices has joined forces with Maryland-based PRS Guitars, Warwick, WONE, and Lock 3 to host the 2018 PRS Guitars EarthQuaker Day Riff Contest.

The qualifying rounds will be held on Fridays at Lock 3 from May 25 to August 3.

Participants must register online and check-in at the Lock 3 information booth located near the concession stand by 6 p.m. The PRS Guitars EarthQuaker Day Riff Contest begins at 6:30p.m. Winners will be announced between bands.
 
Participants will be provided with a guitar, an assortment of EarthQuaker Devices pedals, an amplifier, and 60 seconds to dazzle the audience with their best guitar moves. Each qualifying round is limited to only ten participants.
 
First place qualifiers will receive an EarthQuaker Devices Westwood overdrive pedal and the opportunity to compete on EarthQuaker Day (August 4) for the Grand Prize, which includes a PRS Guitars S2, a Warwick/Rockboard Duo 2.1 pedalboard, a EarthQuaker Devices’ Pyramids Stereo Flanging Device, a EarthQuaker Devices Data Corrupter Modulated Monophonic Harmonizing PLL, and a EarthQuaker Devices Avalanche Run Stereo Reverb and Delay

Qualifying runners-up will receive a swag bag with goodies from EarthQuaker Devices, WONE, and Lock 3.

The finals will be held on August 4 at 6:30p.m., where winners of each qualifying round will compete. The second-place finalist will receive a Warwick/Rockboard Duo 2.1 pedalboard with EarthQuaker Devices’ Pyramids, Data Corrupter, and Avalanche Run. The third-place finalist will receive an EarthQuaker Devices Pyramid Stereo Flanging Device.
