Kala To Feature Aquila Strings On All Models

Beginning January 2015 Kala Brand Music Co™ will include Aquila™ strings on all ukuleles in the company’s Makala™ and Ukadelic™ series. Aquila strings have been standard on the company’s Kala ukuleles since 2005.

The Makala Brand is the very popular and award winning entry level ukulele series by Kala, which is now in its tenth year of production. The Makala series includes multi-color dolphin and shark bridge ukuleles, Ukadelic™, Mahogany, Makala Packs, and the new Makala Waterman series.   

Aquila Corde Armoniche SRL is the manufacturer of fine gut and synthetic musical strings and is based in Vicenza Italy.

Established in 2005, Kala Brand Music Co. will mark its 10^th anniversary in 2015. Kala offers over 200 models of Ukulele, the Kala U-BASS, Kala Guitars, and an extensive line of ukulele and U-BASS accessories.  Kala Brand Music Co. also distributes Aquila Strings.
