Korg USA, Inc. has added a digital piano sales manager position to their growing sales department.

Bernie McCaffery, a dedicated pianist and former Yamaha manager, will take on the new role effective immediately. This position is responsible for the collaborative execution of a Home Piano sales plan, dealer network creation, support, training and relationship maintenance designed to increase the sales teams’ effectiveness in the marketplace.

McCaffery will work closely with the district sales managers as well as the territory sales managers to further develop business relations with retailers. Additionally, McCaffery will handle the responsibility of inventory management for digital pianos and will work closely with Marketing to create and execute product campaigns.

Prior to his new role at Korg USA, Inc. McCaffery worked as the Vice President of Sales at Samick Music Corporation. His extensive experience also includes working as the National Sales Manager for Casio USA and 22 years at Yamaha Corporation of America, where he worked his way up from District Manager to the National Piano Manager. Before his departure in 2009, McCaffery was promoted to National Program Manager, creating operations and employee code of conduct manuals for staff.
