The North American distributor for Zoom Corporation (Japan) recently announced the Grand Opening of their new corporate office Thursday, June 9 at 2040 Express Drive South, S 500, Hauppauge, NY 11788.

Zoom produces a wide array of recording devices, including a line of portable “handy” recorders as well as multi-effects processors, effects pedals, drum machines and samplers, and has been in business for over 30 years. The celebration will include refreshments, performances by a Live Jazz Trio, and distinguished guests including Stevie Wonder Band Leader Nate Watts, and SUNY distinguished professor from the Crane School of Music Jim Petercsak.

Zoom North America is the U.S. affiliate of the Zoom Corporation (Japan). The company prides itself on offering its customers the very highest level of service and support.

Having initially began developing products for musicians, Zoom later expanded into the realm of audio for video and has since been endorsed by many well-known musicians, sound designers and composers including: Nate Watts, Grammy Award winners The Avila Brothers, renowned drummer and educator Peter Erskine (Weather Report), the most recorded drummer in history John JR Robinson (Chaka Kahn, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Natalie Cole), composers Frank Serafine (Tron: Legacy, The Hunt For Red October) and Mark Lanza (Independance Day, JFK), and more.

With the new ZNA headquarters comes several new exciting products. The U-44, a 4-in/4-out audio interface that enables you to record and perform wherever you are, and is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The ARQ Aero RhythmTrak, an all-in-one production and live performance instrument which includes an integrated drum machine, sequencer, synthesizer, looper, and MIDI controller with a built-in accelerometer. Finally, the new H4N Pro Handy Recorder will be introduced June 1, and offers four tracks of simultaneous recording, a built-in X/Y stereo microphone, and advanced features such as time stamping, phantom power and onboard multi-effects and guitar/bass amp modeling.

“Zoom is an innovative, dynamic company, and the products are exceptionally high-quality and unique,” says Dan Gallagher, senior vice president of Sales for Zoom North America

With a wide array of high-quality recording devices already available and some great new products on the way, you won’t want to miss the Grand Opening of their corporate offices Thursday, June 9.
