Casio Names Dallas Piano Gallery as 2016 Grand Hybrid Dealer of The Year

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • September 15, 2016

Bob Rosenthal, owner of the Dallas Piano Gallery, and recipient of the Casio 2016 Digital Piano Dealer of the Year Award.Casio America, Inc., has honored Bob Rosenthal, owner of the Dallas Piano Gallery, with the Casio 2016 Digital Piano Dealer of the Year Award. This award recognizes one outstanding Casio dealer for its exceptional sales achievements for Grand Hybrid Pianos, as well as its continued advocacy and support for the digital piano industry overall.

Bob Rosenthal has been a veteran of the electronic musical instrument industry for over 41 years. He opened the Dallas

Piano Gallery in 1998 and the store currently carries the largest selection of quality, affordable pianos in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with each piano line being carefully selected because of the unique characteristics it offers. In the case of Casio’s Grand Hybrid piano line, every customer that visits the Dallas Piano Gallery receives a demo of the instrument in the store’s specially-designed CELVIANO room. Mr. Rosenthal is a staunch believer in the future of the hybrid piano and, in particular, its relevance to the millennial generation.

“After seeing Casio’s CELVIANO Grand Hybrid for the first time when the line was introduced last year, I told my staff that I just experienced a game-changer – an affordable high-quality hybrid piano with incredible sound that is as close to the acoustic experience as possible,” said Bob Rosenthal, owner of the Dallas Piano Gallery. “I never saw anything like it and knew that the Grand Hybrid series would be ideal for our customers who range from concert pianists and professional musicians to amateurs and hobbyists. We are so passionate about the hybrid digital piano industry and are very proud to be recognized with Casio’s Dealer of the Year Award for doing something we love.”

Casio’s CELVIANO Grand Hybrid digital pianos are a line of digital pianos that recreate the piano experience through the convergence of acoustic and digital technologies. Casio’s technology is designed to reproduce the subtle nuances of the world’s finest grand pianos.  Its Natural Grand Hammer Action Keyboard technology includes full-length piano keys that use the same materials and processes as in C. Bechstein grand pianos and designed to convey delicate finger nuances more accurately, and enable dynamic touch, allowing the pianist to play in a completely natural way. Also featured in all models within Casio’s Grand Hybrid portfolio is the AiR Grand Sound Source, which is designed to recreate the same sound and reverberation like that of a grand piano, and a Grand Acoustic System that generates a space of three-dimensional sound and represents the sound of a grand piano as it emanates from above and below the soundboard.

“Since joining the Casio family in 2014, Bob Rosenthal and the Dallas Piano Gallery staff have worked closely with Casio, supporting our entire line of CELVIANO Grand Hybrid Pianos,” said Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instrument Division. “Through their outstanding marketing initiatives, Bob and his team have brought Grand Hybrid digital pianos to a wide range of customers and new audiences, which is why we couldn’t be more excited to award the Dallas Piano Gallery as our Dealer of the Year for 2016.”
