LPD Music International Appointed Sole Distribution of Maton Guitars in the U.S.A.

LPD Music International, announced the appointment of sole distribution of Australian guitar line, Maton Guitars, in the U.S.A. LPD will be the exclusive U.S. distributor for these quality, handmade guitars.

Both Maton Guitars and LPD Music are wholly owned and operated family businesses with a long history in the music industry. Founded by Bill May in 1946, Maton Guitars has been crafting some of the worlds finest hand made guitars in Melbourne Australia for 70 years. “We believe that the boutique nature of the Maton brand requires the focus and expertise that LPD Music International is able to provide” says Maton director David Steedman. Maton is the instrument of choice by Tommy Emmanuel, Josh Homme, Colin Hay, Eric Johnson and many others. 

Founded in 1963 by Harry Bernstein, LPD Music International (formerly known as La Playa Distributing) has been servicing Americas’ top music retailers for over 50 years. Today, the company distributes more than 3,000 products from roughly 150 brands. Brands distributed in the U.S. exclusively by LPD include Paracho Elite Guitars, Danelectro Guitars, Crestwood Guitars, Little Grass Shack Ukuleles, TKO Percussion and City Limits Straps.
