Music & Arts Announces ‘Upgrade Your Sound’ U.S. Tour Dates

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • March 21, 2017

Music & Arts has announced the Spring 2017 schedule for its free “Upgrade Your Sound” tour.

The series, which runs April through May, is made for students, musicians and instructors who want to try out new instruments and talk to specialists from Music & Arts and brands like Yamaha, Bach, Giardinelli, Conn-Selmer, Buffet, Fox, Eastman, Strobel, Howard Core, Vandoren and Rico. The 2017 tour will feature two special events: Horns of Plenty, which showcases a variety of woodwind and brass instruments, and String Showcase, which includes a wide range of orchestral instruments.

“Selecting a new instrument is a fun process, but it can also take some time and bring some questions along with it,” says David Fuhr, the vice president of sales at Music & Arts. ”We created these events to invite the community to try the widest assortment of instruments available and to speak to specialists all in one place. It’s an engaging, fun and educational experience that addresses a variety of musical scenarios and needs.”

National sales director Jeremy Mueller also notes that the event will offer many different financing options, so that attendees with different budgets can bring home an instrument from the tour. Special discounts and free admission also help to make the event affordable for everyone.

Musicians and instructors who cannot make it to any of the tour dates can go to any Music & Arts location to try out instruments featured at the event tour. Anyone who is interested in attending can RSVP online and request any brand or model they would like to test at the series.
