Peavey Sponsors First Annual Decibel Metal & Beer Fest

Peavey Electronics co-sponsored the first annual Decibel Metal & Beer Fest this past weekend.

The event, presented by Unibroue brewery at the Fillmore in Philadelphia, took place on April 22 and 23. Decibel magazine has been fostering the concept of pairing metal music with beer in its monthly column “Brewtal Truth.”

The festival aimed to celebrate the brotherhood of craft beer and metal music with live metal music and beer from the finest metal craft brewers. Unibroue even partnered with Dave Mustaine of Megadeth to brew the Belgian-style dry hopped saison A Tout Le Monde, named after a Megadeth tune of the same name. Peavey also supplied Peavey 6505 and PVH guitar and bass cabinets for the festival.

Headliners of the all-weekend event included Agoraphic Nosebleed on Saturday and Sleep on Sunday.
