On June 2, staff at Korg USA had a “dress down day” to raise money for Long Island Cares in Hauppauge, New York. Employees paid $5 to wear casual clothes, and the funds went directly to help feed hungry families on Long Island.
“We welcome opportunities to support our local community and Long Island Cares is doing great work fighting hunger across Long Island,” says Diana Cecchini, Korg USA CFO and treasurer of the Long Island Cares Board of Directors. “Wearing shorts to work was a fun way to involve everyone at the company to make a difference in the lives of Long Islanders.”
The donations from Korg added to the $17,000 raised from the Casual Wear campaign across Long Island.
