2017 Wilson Center Guitar Festival Launches

The Wilson Center Guitar Festival has kicked off, running from August 17 to 19 in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The event is the only guitar festival in the world to celebrate four different genres: classical, fingerstyle, jazz, and rock/blues. 

The festival will also include live semi-final and final competition rounds with 76 competitors from 63 different cities and 19 different countries. Prizes include $32,000 in cash prizes, world-class ticketed headliners, and free master classes with guitar greats.

Most events in the festival are free and open to the public.
