Moog Announces Annual Halloween Theremin Contest

Moog has announced the details of their annual Moog Halloween Theremin Contest, encouraging Theremin users to submit their spookiest tunes for the chance to win Moog merchandise. 

Today Moog released a video of comedian Hannibal Buress announcing the contest, which can be viewed here.

To enter, simply create a video of yourself playing the Theremin that “embodies the spirit of the season,” and upload it to Youtube using the title “Moog Halloween Theremin Video Contest 2017.” Afterwards, make sure to send an email to [email protected] with a link to your YouTube video and put “Moog Halloween Theremin Video Contest 2017” as the subject of the email.

All videos must be uploaded by midnight EST on Thursday, October 26, and entries will be judged on originality, creativity and “overall-spookiness.”

On October 31st, Moog will announce three winners; first place will receive a Mother-32 Analog Synthesizer, second place a MF-108 Cluster Flux and third place a MF-102 Ring Modulator.
