Spector Basses Hosts Artist Appearances at Winter NAMM 2018

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • February 14, 2018

At the 2018 Winter NAMM Show, Spector Basses welcomed a slew of prominent artists to perform and hang out at their new booth.

One of the highlighting moments from Spector’s show was an exclusive performance from legendary bassist and member of Living Colour, Doug Wimbish, whose performance not only packed out the booth’s soundroom, but included guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and drummer Raghav Mehrotra, two prodigy cast members of the Broadway show “School of Rock.” Godsmack’s Robbie Merrill and Nickelback’s Mike Kroeger also stopped by the booth to see what’s new, as did Rudy Sarzo, Quintin Berry and iconic bassist, Billy Sherwood from English rock band, Yes.

“This was by far our best NAMM appearance to date,” says vice president of Spector Basses, PJ Rubal. “Stuart and I have attended this show for years and we’ve never seen as much excitement, traffic and positivity from dealers, artists and consumers. We’re ecstatic to see what the next year brings and we’re grateful to Korg USA for creating such a spacious and beautifully designed space.”
