Museum of Making Music Given Community Impact Award

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • March 20, 2018

On Friday, March 16, the Museum of Making Music was presented with the “Community Impact Award” by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.

The award recognizes area businesses which bring people together and create positive impacts within the local community.

Presented at the Chamber’s annual business awards dinner, the event hosted over 500 business leaders and government officials from the area to recognize North County businesses and organizations for achievements, community contributions and milestones with awards presented in the following categories: “Innovation,” “Health and Wellness,” “Leadership Development,” “Community Impact,” “Entrepreneur of the Year,” and “Best Place to Work in Carlsbad.”

“We are honored and humbled to receive this award,” states Carolyn Grant, executive director of the Museum of Making Music. “The programs we offer would not thrive without the support, inspiration and passion that the community provides to this organization every day.  We are proud to be a member of this community and look forward to continuing our service through music for many years to come.”
