Yamaha Drums Adds Conor Rayne to Artist Roster

Yamaha Drums has announced the signing of New York-based drummer, composer, and producer Conor Rayne of the duo Brasstracks.

Rayne’s kit of choice is the Yamaha Tour Custom with Butterscotch Satin finish, which allows him to combine projection and expressive capability with 100% maple 6-ply shells. Additionally, Rayne will be playing the Yamaha 14” x 5.5” Recording Custom Aluminum (RAS1465) snare, using 800 series hardware and will be utilizing the new EAD10 electronic acoustic drum module for online videos.

 “I’ve always loved the versatility of Yamaha,” said Rayne. “With the Tour Custom, I can really dig in and the drums project with power and warmth. It also catches my quieter, more dynamic moments with crystal clarity. I play a lot of different genres and these drums work for all of them!”
