On July 6, KLOTZ held a summer party and celebrated the inauguration of their production facility at the Vilchband plant near Würzburg.
A musical treat was provided by KLOTZ artist Jessica Lynn and her band.
“KLOTZ AIS GmbH is continuing its course of growth; we have invested in expanding our production and storage facilities by 1200 sqm to a total of approx. 4000 sqm, enabling us to meet rising demand for our products while complying with our signature high quality standards. The newly constructed premade cable hall is the centrepiece of our site expansion – and our pride and joy,” says a statement from the company. “Its 18 cable assembly workplaces have been designed to state-of-the-art ergonomic standards and are supplied by the roller conveyor – likewise brand-new – which brings in materials from the cable cutting hall next door. LED lighting, radiant tube heating that creates a pleasant working atmosphere, and high-efficiency extraction systems at the soldering stations are just some of the ways in which working life has been made easier for our employees. By merging cable cutting and assembly operations, we were able to introduce numerous improvements in our processes and workflows. Our production capacity doubled as a result –with the help of our new rewinding unit, the new cutting attachment and a new semi-automatic packaging unit. On this special day, we naturally treated our guests to a look behind the scenes on a tour of the plant. The visitors gained an impression of how the 100-plus workforce at KLOTZ creates and safeguards our hallmark ‘made in Germany’ quality.”
