362ce and 352ce Models from Taylor Guitars

Christian Wissmuller • Fretted • August 8, 2017

The new 362ce and 352ce models from Taylor Guitars are the newest guitars in the company’s 12-string guitar line.

The 362ce’s compact cutaway Grand Concert shape features solid Tasmanian blackwood back and sides and a mahogany top. The guitar is lap-friendly and less unwieldy than other 12-string models. The 12-fret neck and the 24-7/8-inch scale length also makes fretting easier.

Other features include Italian acrylic small diamond fretboard inlays, black binding with crisp white top trim, a three-ring rosette, a black pickguard, and Taylor’s ES2 electronics.

Conversely, the 352ce pairs Sitka spruce with sapele back and sides, as well as a gloss-finish top.

The 362ce and 352ce will both be available at retail in August 2017 for $2,099 and $1,999 respectively, and come in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
