MIA Conference looms

The MIA’s annual industry day in London takes place next week, and there are still places available.

The event takes place at The British Library Conference Centre on Wednesday 7th October and will have three keynote speakers. 

First up is John Straw, who is an expert in disruptive technologies. He boasts 32 years experience in IT, and has been involved in four Internet startups. Most recently he was Chairman of Thomas Cook Digital and author of iDisrupted. He is an active early stage venture capitalist specialising in marketing and cloud technology investments. Next, Keith Edelman, is the former MD of Arsenal Football Club and a retail entrepreneur with a vast range of experience on the High Street. He has sat on the board of clothing brand Superdry (Supergroup) and was also instrumental in bringing the creation of Arsenal’s atmospheric Emirates Stadium deal to fruition.

The final speakers are legal experts Birketts, with Rafael Ruiz, who was popular at last year’s conference.
