Musikmesse has, once again, outlined its new programme for next year’s show, including its new Business Meets Business hall.
The expo’s “new concept” includes public opening across all days, but a dedicated trade area in hall 11.1.
The hall will provide a quieter atmosphere than the rest of the show and will also feature a conversation area with “loft-style décor”. Time slots can also be booked in the fully equipped meeting rooms. Other features will include the Future Shop, which will presents visitors with an idea of what the music shop of the future will look like and there will also be a lecture podium for the Business Academy.
After its launch last year, the Musikmesse Insider feature is to be extended. In the new Business Academy, trade visitors as well as manufacturers can take part in a programme of professional development. Lectures, given by well-known industry speakers, will provide information and knowledge on a wide range of relevant topics. There is also a newly developed matchmaking programme, which actively puts exhibitors in contact with relevant trade visitors.
On the consumer side the new themed music worlds in Halls 8.0, 9.0, 9.1, 10.2 and 11.0 will have live stages, meeting areas for contact with musicians, lectures and workshops.
The show days are changing next year too. The event will take place from Thursday 7th April to Sunday 10th April 2016. Designed to give retailers in smaller shops the opportunity to attend the show outside normal trading hours.
