Learn To Play Day build-up starts

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • December 4, 2015

Music For All has officialy fired the starter’s gun on Learn To Play Day, which will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March next year.

LTPD raises the profile of the music industry by gaining national and regional publicity.

This year’s event saw one hundred and twenty nine venues give more than twelve thousand lessons, (including one person flying in from Russia to take part in an Ian Paice Masterclass at Drumwright!). Coverage included London Live TV, BBC Radio London, plus Sky Arts filmed Fender at the Royal Festival Hall. Waitrose and Tesco magazines, Time Out, Parentdish, Londonist and many other events listings featured LTPD as a recommended activity for the weekend.

“Please get in touch with us so we can start helping you plan how to maximise the benefits of LTPD for your business,” urged Music For All chairman, Paul McManus. “By working together we can raise awareness of LTPD across the country and make the day the biggest, most successful ever.”

For all information and enquiries about supporting and getting involved in LTPD, contact Clare on 01403 800500 or [email protected]

Full details of the event, including participating venues and local appearances, will be found at www.learntoplayday.com and www.facebook.com/learntoplayday over the coming months.
