Italian Cymbal Manufacturer Ufip has struck a new distribution deal with US firm, Davitt & Hanser.
Ufip, based in Pistoia, Tuscany, has been manufacturing cymbals since 1931 utilising its Rotocasting process, which means cymbal is created through a procedure of centrifuge-casting, producing a unique product each time.
General Manager Alberto Biasei explained: “Ufip has experienced organic growth over the past decade because of our ability to produce the finest, purest sounding cymbals on the market today. The drum community has taken notice, and our demand in the US Market continues to grow. As such, we sought a distributor who would help us share our message, and show their willingness to help us attain our long term vision in the US. Davitt & Hanser’s history with the retail community, coupled with the ambitious nature of its staff helped make this the right decision for the Ufip brand.”
Davitt & Hanser has been established for over 90 years, but last year saw a change in both ownership and distribution centres and the firm is expecting a a busy 2016.
