The Music Alliance launches new dealer-friendly site

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • February 16, 2017

Dutch music distribution giant, The Music Alliance has revamped its UK dealer website, giving easy access to its full range of instruments and accessories which totals more than 17,000 products.

Central to the new site is the Parts Doctor which is a dealer-friendly way to order multiple parts for electric, bass, acoustic and classical guitars. Simply click on the area of the guitar you want the part for and the site will generate a list of more than 4,000 Boston guitar accessories to select from.

Distributed in the UK by Rotosound, TMA boasts a central warehouse of 110,000 square feet situated in The Netherlands and reaches 4,500 stores. The range covers 29 exclusive brands with over 60 additional brand names available. New products are continually added to the line-up.

The new website also enables access to prices and updated stock information for all shops, luthiers and other trade customers.

The range includes Richwood Guitars; Hayman drums and percussion; Mayson Guitars, Orla Italian electronic keyboards, Wilkinson replacement parts and Cortez classical guitars among others. The full range of Rotosound strings and accessories will be added soon.

The TMA line-up is also available to order from Rotosound’s on the road network of sales reps. Dealers not already signed up to the website can email [email protected] for login details.

“With such a huge range of products to be able to offer dealers,” explained Rotosound chairman, Jason How, “we needed a website that would simplify the process for them, offering a faster, clearer way to navigate around the parts catalogue. Our Parts Doctor does just that with an easy point and click interface that brings up all the options for each part of the guitar – bridge, neck, pickups, circuitry and so on.

“It means that The Music Alliance’s comprehensive catalogue of more than 17,000 products and accessories –  the industry’s biggest  – is accessible to dealers in a way that makes the ordering process quick and easy, enabling them to utilise their time for other aspects of their business.”
