Hodgson Takes the Reins at Korg UK

Korg has appointed the experienced and popular Ricci Hodgson as its new UK MD, with Rob Castle moving up to the role of chairman of the firm. 

Hodgson steps up from his role as sales and marketing manager on 1st January and will be responsible for all day to day operations whilst Castle will focus on future strategy and special projects.

Commenting on the move, Castle said: “I’m genuinely excited about these changes having enjoyed the last 25 years developing Korg UK to its current strong market position. I believe I have found a worthy successor in Ricci and have total confidence in his ability to steer the company as it continues to grow and develop.’

Hodgson added: “It is a great honour to have been given this opportunity. I have made a commitment to both the UK team and our Japanese management to do everything possible to continue our progress and the support of our dealer network in the UK and Ireland.”

Previously Hodgson held a senior role as a director at Yamaha.
