Danelectro Adds Gloss to Pedal Range

Danelectro has added to its pedal range with new Billionaire die-cast models in high gloss, classic car finishes.
The Pride of Texas (BP1 £89.99 UK RRP) recreates a bluesy ton, fattening up the signal without losing clarity or voice. Designed for both single coils or humbuckers, the Pride of Texas provides plenty of boost for crunchy rhythm or screaming lead solos.
Meanwhile, the Filthy Rich Tremolo (BT1 £79.99 UK RRP) accurately replicates the original Danelectro amplifier tremolo tones from the 1940’s, providing “lush, fat, pulsing tremolo”.
The Billion Dollar Boost (BB1 £79.99 UK RRP) is a reissue of a rare 80’s ‘hidden gem’. It boosts all frequencies, and provides pure pre-amp clean with lots of gain. It is clean and crisp at 50 per cent or less, but pushes the amp into crunchy bite at 50 per cent or more.
Recreating the classic rotary cabinet sound has been a big challenge for years, but the Big Spender Spinning Speaker (BK1 £99.99 UK RRP) lets you initiate speed up/down for a “swirling, mesmerising” effect.
Finally, the Battery Billionaire (BAT1 £69.99 UK RRP) powerpack works using four Danelectro vintage batteries through four DC cables (supplied). An easy-open lid makes battery replacement simple and a ‘kill switch’ cuts power so there’s no need to unplug the cables each time. Meanwhile, its small footprint is designed for compact pedalboards.
