Teenage Engineering and UK distributor Sound Technology have launched new PO-33 K.O! and PO-35 speak Pocket Operators samplers.
The PO-33 K.O! and PO-35 speak join the existing PO-32 tonic in the Metal Series, completing the third generation of the Pocket Operator family. The devices allow the user to sample anything, anywhere, with the new Pocket Operator PO-33 K.O! It can sample and process a voice using the eight different voice characters of PO-35 speak and can also add drums with the existing PO-32 tonic.
The PO-33 is a micro sampler with 40 second sample memory and built-in recording microphone. Sample any sound source using line in or the built in microphone. Melodic mode lets you play chromatic melodies and drum mode lets you play drums. It can be sequenced and effects added on top.
The PO-33 is a vocal synthesiser and sequencer with 8 different voice characters and a built-in microphone for recording your own phrases. Use the built in microphone to instantly record your own voice, and completely change its character. Play with it, sequence it and add effects and drums on top.
The PO-32 is a drum synthesiser with built-in microphone and import / export functionality. Unique to PO-32 tonic is its wide range of sonic capabilities. Users can even use the standard desktop version of Sonic Charge Microtonic to shape sounds, generate patches and pattern data, and have that transferred wirelessly back to the PO-32 tonic. Both the PO-32 tonic and PO-35 speak were developed by Magnus Lidström of Sonic Charge.
The PO-32 tonic, PO-33 K.O! and PO-35 speak are all available now priced at £85 RRP inc VAT each.
