Tracktion Launches Waverazor 2.0 Editor

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • May 9, 2018

Tracktion is launching an updated version of MOK’s Waverazor 2.0 Editor version.

The update includes a Contextual Editing system that gives users the ability to manage thousands of sound sculpting parameters. In addition,
MOK’s oscillator design allows users to slice up waveforms and recombine them into harmonically rich sounds.

The Contextual Editing system in version 2.0 opens up Waverazor’s capabilities by allowing the user to focus on their desired sound settings, all surrounded by directly related parameters. When editing an oscillator, users will also see the LFO that gives it vibrato. This makes navigation of the entire synthesizer and crafting intricate connections easier, enabling musicians to ‘build their own synthesizer’ and quickly develop an individualised sound set.

“We’re so excited to finally put the full potential of Waverazor into people’s hands,” said Taiho Yamada, Co-Founder of MOK. “This synth is incredibly deep, and after years of hands-on development, I’m still finding new ways to patch it.  We hope everyone has a blast finding sounds they’ve never heard before.”

Waverazor 2.0 Editor is available now from the Tracktion website. For existing customers, the latest version is offered as a free upgrade, and for new customers Waverazor 2.0 Editor retails at $159.
