Apogee Launches Powerful New USB Mic

Apogee Electronics and UK distributor Sound Technology is launching HypeMiC, a premium USB microphone promising studio-quality analogue compression.

HypeMiC offers three settings of compression to use on vocals, voice-overs, instruments, percussion, and podcasts through an iPhone or computer.

• Shape it (Low) – The minimal amount of compression, for shaping the vocals and instruments
• Squeeze it (Medium) – For podcasts, interviews and streaming
• Smash it (High) For voice recording for a big broadcast sound
