Leeds Guitar Show Takes Shape

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • July 19, 2018
The Leeds/Bradford Guitar Show returns to Pudsey Civic Hall on Sunday 2nd September 2018.

Now in its 12th year, the show is the only large-scale guitar show to take place in West Yorkshire. Hosted by Northern Guitar Shows, the show offers an affordable entrance fee for visitors, sensibly-priced exhibitor costs with no added extras, free parking for all, good transport links including proximity to the motorways and a nearby railway station.
Forged in the stye of USA table-top exhibitions, the show is first and foremost a retail event. New, vintage and pre-owned guitars, amps and pedals will be available to buy, trade and sell from a host of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors. Plenty of special show bargains and on-the-day prices will be available on a wide range of products, both new and used.
As with all NGS events, workshops, demonstrations and live music will be available in separate areas throughout the day, with some of the top names in the industry performing in an intimate setting. This year sees former Stone Roses and Asia guitarist Aziz Ibrahim performing an eclectic set; Vintage Guitars present Porcelain Hill from California on the last date of their UK tour, playing high-energy blues, soul, funk and punk. Druzkowski Guitars & Taurus Pedals will feature the virtuoso playing of master guitar builder Przemek Druzkowski and his band, whilst acoustic duo The Huers will showcase their songs and harmonies through the show’s PA system provider Bose Professional.
Every visitor will be entered into a free prize draw to win a Vintage V100MRJBM Icon Distressed Gold Top guitar worth £399, with runner-up prizes of The Guitar Magazine subscriptions.
