Mojotone Signs Guitar Slide ‘first’

Mojotone has teamed up with ThixoTek to distribute its new product; the MagSlide MS2 – the world’s first Magnesium Guitar Slide, offering guitars players a lightweight alternative to conventional glass, steel and brass slides.

Engineered to provide slide players a better performance, MagSlide’s “Comfort Grooves” are designed to provide more control and allow airflow between the finger and the inside wall of the slide.

The inherent dampening characteristic of magnesium contributes to the MagSlide’s tone and sustain. Magnesium is the lightest structural metal on earth and is 33 per cent lighter than glass for ultimate playability.

Because the MagSlide is so lightweight it can be played on both acoustic and electric guitars with lighter gauge strings with lower action.
