NAMM 2018: New Los Cabos Stick Lines

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • January 11, 2018

Los Cabos Drumsticks is launching two new artist stick models at this year’s NAMM Show.

Designed in partnership with LCD artists David McGraw (Cattle Decapitation) and Lee Stanton (Thy Art Is Murder), the sticks  – David McGraw Pro Series Red Hickory 16” .680 diameter and Lee Stanton Pro Series White Hickory 16” .613” diameter are the first models to surface from the company’s new Pro Series stick line officially launching at Winter NAMM 2018.

“Not only is it an honour for me to have the support of the Los Cabos Drumsticks,” said McGraw, “it is essential and critical. Whether performing live or in the studio, I depend on the quality and performance of my drumsticks and I cannot imagine ever playing a different pair than a Los Cabos. Playing a pair of LCD sticks means I can give it my all, because I know I can depend and put my trust in their products, and know that they stand behind the quality of everything they do.”

“This model is the perfect in between of a 5B & a 2B which gives it a bit more weight and length than a regular 5B,” said Stanton, “gives me more power at slower tempos while still being comfortable at faster tempos. The support I’ve received from Los Cabos has been amazing! They are amazing people that make beautiful sticks and I’m honoured to be a part of their roster.”
