New Cordoba site improves accessibility

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • October 11, 2017

Córdoba has launched a new interactive website, aimed at improving product and brand selection for all levels of musicians, and in particular beginners.

“The differences between our models are hard for the untrained eye to see, so foolproof navigation and an amazing user experience was our top priority,” said Naomi Con, Córdoba’s marketing director. “We applied best practices learned from other successful e-commerce platforms to improve our user flows and, of course, featured beautiful product photography. We met our goal of making sure the site’s technology paralleled the quality of the instruments themselves.”

In a company-wide effort to improve Córdoba’s accessibility to beginners, Córdoba has moved away from the industry-standard “Series” focus. Instead, implementing a streamlined menu of two simple categories: guitars or ukuleles. An improved product filtering system within each category further simplifies the shopping experience.

The new Cordobaguitars.com is easily accessed from any mobile device, tablet or desktop. On the new Cordobaguitars.com, users can learn more about Córdoba instruments and see them in action, read up on Córdoba news, see Córdoba artists, register instruments, connect on social media, watch a tutorial on how to get started, or purchase accessories and apparel. Because model-specific details are pulled directly from Córdoba’s new internal product portal, all information on the site is reliably up to date.

The new website corresponds with the launch of the Disney•Pixar Coco x Córdoba Collection, which will be available exclusively through Guitar Center, Musician’s Friend and Music & Arts through November; worldwide distribution opens in December.
