UK site Music Instrument News reports that veteran UK retailer, Dawsons, has been sold to a private equity firm.
The site says the firm, which was founded in 1898 and now has nine UK stores, has been bought by business turnaround specialist SKG Capital.
There has been no further comment from either party.
