Kala Brand Music Co. marks a milestone with the introduction of a special limited edition Tenth Anniversary Tenor ukulele, released in recognition of the company’s founding in 2005 in Petaluma, CA by Michael Upton. Kala will limit the production to 500 pieces of this model.

Composed of all solid Acacia back and sides additional features include a gloss finish, Padauk binding on top, back, and fingerboard as well as a Padauk rosette, heel cap, and position markers. Other features include Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck, Grover Gold Vintage Tuners, and Graphtech NuBone nut and saddle. The model number is the KA-ASAC-T-TNTH and has a suggested retail price of $629.99.

The Humid-I-Bar holds ten times its weight in water and has anti-drip properties engineered into it. ESP’s LTD Signature Series has expanded with two special new bass offerings. Widely acclaimed jazz fusion bassist and new ESP endorsee Bunny Brunel has helped design the 4-string BB-1004QM and the 5-string fretless BB-1005FL. Both basses make use of Aguilar MM (neck) and J (bridge) passive pickups with active EQ, and feature high-end design features such as a quilted maple top and ebony fingerboard, along with components like Hipshot bridge and tuners. The BB-1004QM is being offered in See Thru Black Sunburst finish, while the BB-1005FL is available in a translucent Burnt Orange finish that highlights the highly figured wood grain.
