The Percussion Marketing Council (PMC) Executive Committee announced the appointment of Jennifer Paisley to its Executive Committee. She joins the all-volunteer Committee consisting of David Jewell (Yamaha Corporation), Stacey Montgomery-Clark (Sabian) and Karl Dustman (Dustman and Associates).  The PMC executive committee serves as the PMC’s leadership team, contributing diverse talents and resources to extend the reach of the various PMC programs, campaigns, and events, all centered on growing the percussion industry in all product categories.

JenniferPaisley is Trade Shows & Partnerships Director at Alfred Music and has been an active member of the music industry for more than 16 years. “I’m delighted to be joining the PMC Executive Committee and am looking forward to supporting the PMC in its efforts to help more future musicians discover their love of drumming,” states Paisley. Paisley holds a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Business from the Crane School of Music as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY Potsdam.

PMC Co-Executive Director Karl Dustman added, “We are extremely fortunate to have Jennifer join the executive committee as our new Industry Relations representative. As Brad Smith, of Hal Leonard, moves off the board into the newly created ‘ Special Projects Director’ position for the organization, Jennifer will be working closely with us on further growth of the many Percussion Marketing Council initiatives, such as May’s International Drum Month,  Percussion in the Library, Hand Drumming For Life, and March to Your Own Drum. As the PMC approaches the organization’s 25th Anniversary in 2020, Jennifer’s industry-wide contacts will be invaluable in helping to the lead the organization further forwards. We look forward to her long-term contribution to the PMC.”

Formed in 1995, the Percussion Marketing Council is the percussion industry’s official trade organization representing all  acoustic and electronic percussion product categories.  The PMC is a non-profit with a mission to actively promote the many benefits of drumming to the general public. Part of this mission is to provide professional marketing incentives, advertising campaigns, educational programs, and activities that bring increased public awareness to drums and drumming, thus increasing the number of people playing all types of percussion musical instruments. Members belonging to the organization represent every facet of the percussion industry including manufacturing, distribution, publishing, and educational festival-events.
