Yorkville Sound has named James Greenspan as Yorkville’s new marketing and communications manager, effective immediately.
Reporting to the vice president of sales and marketing, Jeff Cowling, James’ responsibilities will include developing strategic digital initiatives, public relations, enhancing Yorkville’s brand internationally, generating trade specific marketing material while aiding in Yorkville’s overall comprehensive strategy.
“James comes to us with a wealth of marketing experience in the music industry. His previous experience with project management, fan engagement, and event co-ordination will be a valuable asset to the Yorkville team,” says Jeff Cowling, VP Sales and Marketing at Yorkville Sound. “He regularly coordinates music events around the city and is an avid guitar & bass enthusiast. James speaks our language.”
Before joining Yorkville Sound, James worked in various Marketing, Retail and Communication roles, developing soundtracks, artist retrospectives and managing the Canadian catalogues of some of the most revered legacy artists. He has held positions at Toronto’s Hard Rock Cafe, Sony Music Canada, and E1 Entertainment.
James’ professional experience is coupled with a life-long passion for music. His knowledge of event planning, retail marketing, and partnerships makes the perfect storm to compliment Yorkville’s identity.

James will be located at the Pickering, Ontario office.
