On the live main stage, guests can learn firsthand tips and tricks from live sound industry veterans, including top-tier rental sound company owners and leading concert FOH mixers. These sessions take place all four days and will focus on contemporary live sound system mixing and engineering, with topics like live mixing console automation, Virtual Soundcheck, low frequency management, world-tour logistics and more. Daily sessions will feature expert speakers, including Coach Connor, Michael MacDonald, Patrick Baltzell and others, with surprise guests focusing on popular live sound topics.

“Our program has been carefully developed to anticipate the learning expectations of working professionals that want to bring themselves up to speed with what is happening in these critical technology areas, and learn more about how to use high-tech systems in their day-to-day activities,” says Mark Frink, AES@NAMM program director and manager, Live Sound Content. “Everybody needs a refresher course from time to time; AES@NAMM will focus on offering no-nonsense tuition on a range of key topics.”
