Audio-Technica U.S., Inc., was the sponsor for the fifth annual “En La Mezcla” reception kicking off Latin GRAMMY Week.
Held on Tuesday, November 14 at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the annual cocktail reception event celebrated the Circle of Producers and Engineers (known as CPI from its name in Spanish, el Círculo de Productores e Ingenieros), the dedicated group of Latin music recording professionals who work behind-the-scenes to create great sounding music and advocate for the rights of Latin music makers worldwide.
This year’s event at the Palms Casino Resort featured a talk by Joe Chiccarelli, three-time GRAMMY- and five-time Latin GRAMMY-winning engineer, mixer and producer. Audio-Technica hosted a demo room to exhibit and test its new AT5047 studio microphone in addition to its other high-end studio microphones and headphones.
“We are very happy to have a great relationship with The Latin Recording Academy and sponsor this event in support of the Latin music industry,” said Mary Eisaman, Audio-Technica director of sales and marketing, Latin America. “The Latin American music market is important to us, and we are proud to help it grow through our sponsorship of this evening and other important events.”
