The Deli Magazine hosted their annual Synth Expo event at the Absurd Conclave earlier this month, where over 2000 attendees, musicians and synth enthusiasts from all over the East Coast gathered to demo products from the industry’s top manufacturers, including KORG and Waldorf.
“The Synth Expo is on the cutting edge of the synth world,” says Nick Kwas, lead technology specialist at KORG USA. “KORG, USA Inc. is proud to have been involved since the beginning. Fostering a community for local artists and creators is one of the most important ways we support our users and the Deli Magazine has achieved just that with these events.”
Korg and Waldorf Product Specialists gave multiple demos throughout the weekend, focusing intently on Waldorf’s Quantum analog-hybrid synth, newly released earlier this year, as well as the KORG prologue, KORG’S newest addition to their Polyphonic analog synth line. Local retailer Three Wave Music provided a boutique pop-up shop, displaying popular tech gear such as KORG minilogues, monologues and microKORGs to name a few.
