KORG Takes Brew Music to Oregon

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • October 4, 2018

KORG’s growing Brew Music campaign traveled to Oregon for their first-ever event along the Pacific coast. Partnering with one of the country’s most popular synthesizer dealers, Control Voltage, musicians flocked to Culmination Brewery, located in the heart of Portland, for an intimate look at KORG’s elaborate line of gear. Featuring the prologue, the complete volca line and more, synth enthusiasts were eager to tweak, patch and play all while enjoying some of the city’s top craft beer. The event also featured German synthesizer brand Waldorf for a second time, who proudly displayed a wide array of gear including the newly released STVC and Streichfett string synthesizers and the digital-analog hybrid synth, Quantum.

“We’ve been eager to bring these events to the West Coast and as Control Voltage is one of the most popular synth dealers in the country, they made an excellent partner,” says James Sajeva, director of technology brands at Korg USA, Inc. “The turnout was incredible. Between the local musicians who came to play, to our valued dealer and even the hospitality at Culmination Brewery, we were ecstatic to bring the Portland community together over a few beers and some killer products. You’ll be seeing more of the events in the future.”
