KORG hosted two engaging workshops along the West Coast, stopping at Portland’s premier synth shop Control Voltage, as well as Seattle hot spot, Patchwerks. Product specialist James Watson brought along the minilogue xd, as well as the KORG volca modular, volca drum and volca nubass, showcasing the ins and outs of the brand’s newest gear. To a large audience at both clinics, Watson demoed the products extensively, intertwining stories of his own experience as a working musician and how KORG’s line of synthesizers has helped take his music to the next level.
“Seattle has a very engaged, knowledgeable audience, which means that the area has demanding customers. Watson and KORG provided them with not only ample information on the new KORG range of products but also a personable specialist who related to amateurs and professionals alike with his delivery of the workshop and his signature anecdotes from the studio and the road,” says Tom Butcher, co-owner of Patchwerks.
“What a great time! The clinic went incredibly smooth and we received amazing feedback as well. One very happy monologue winner went home smiling and praised us for hosting such an informative event. Thank you to KORG USA for all your hard work,” states Jason Kramer, Owner of Control Voltage.
In addition to educating staff and consumers, each event included a performance, giveaways and one-on-one time with KORG’s dedicated product specialist.
