KORG has continued their successful Brew Music campaign at popular New Jersey music venue and brewery, Asbury Park Brewery. Brew Music, a campaign that connects musicians and beer enthusiasts alike, has taken over breweries in popular cities throughout the country including Brooklyn, Chicago and Austin to name a few.
The most recent event at Asbury Park was the sixth one in just under two years. Local music store Russo Music partnered with the synth company and popular amp brand VOX offered support by providing the new AC30 OneTwelve and Mini SUPER BEETLE amps, both recently released at SNAMM. Attendees from all across the tristate area got their hands on the new KORG prologue, as well as some additional KORG synths including the microKORG, the entire Volca series and the Grandstage; a relatively new stage piano that has become a prime choice for keyboardists worldwide.
“While most manufacturers in this industry are caught in the dark ages of marketing and promotion, Korg stands out as a forward thinking and fresh organization that’s willing to take chances and push the envelope to spread brand awareness and build strong relationships with dealers and customers alike,” says Russo Music owner, Scott Engel. “While we normally have to do 99% of the work in any “outside-the-box” marketing effort, Korg sees the greater good in bringing gear fans, brand ambassadors and retailers together over a few beers in a great setting. Events like this are the masterful play in the long game to customer loyalty and industry growth.”
