California recently hosted the annual Aftershock music festival at West Coast Discovery Park, where Spector provided an assortment of basses, including the new Bantam4 series. The company also set up an exclusive artist signing with heavy metal band Godsmack.
Bassist Robbie Merrill, a long-time Spector artist, and The Music Experience’s marketing team made one lucky fan’s day by providing an impromptu opportunity to meet the band backstage. After asking the line of fans a series of questions, Jeremiah Johnson, who was sporting a Godsmack tattoo, was chosen for the chance of a lifetime.
“I am so grateful to Spector and the Music Experience for allowing me the opportunity to meet my favorite band,” says Johnson. “I never would have thought that a single artist signing would grant me the chance to go backstage and meet my musical idols. It’s truly a memory that will live with me forever.”
The Music Experience coordinated the weekend festival with a variety of music brands to participate in the lineup of events. Squiggy Digiacomo, chief visionary of the organization and gear editor at Loudwire spoke highly of Spector’s presence at the event.
“I love when a music company embraces the human element of their brand. The attendees loved playing these basses and emulating their favorite Spector artists,” he says.
