Universal Percussion Named 2013 Remo Distributor of the Year

In 2013 Universal sold more Remo products than any other distributor in the country. In recognition of this achievement Remo vice president Bob Yerby and sales representative Brian LeVan presented a celebratory plaque to Universal founder and president Tom Shelley, along with VP of domestic sales Jim Bickley. The presentation took place at the Music Distributors Association national convention, held in Anaheim this past January.

"Everyone at Universal is tremendously proud to be named Remo's distributor of the year," says Tom Shelly. "Music involves collaboration and the combining of talents. Selling musical products takes that same sort of collaboration. Remo has a talent for manufacturing great products, and Universal has a talent for offering great sales and service.It makes for a terrific duet."
