Davitt & Hanser was named as the new distribution partner for Kustom Amplification, effective March 1st, 2016.

The Kustom Amplification relationship marks another strategic partnership between Hanser Music Group and JAM Industries. In October of 2014, JAM Industries acquired Davitt & Hanser distribution from HMG, and was immediately named as the exclusive distributor of Powerwerks Pro Audio, a leading brand of portable PA in the MI space.

Kustom president Gary Hanser noted, “There is already an established and strong relationship existing between HMG and JAM Industries. This represents the next step in our strategic partnership as the synergy between our brands and the D&H sales staff already exists. They understand the product range, and have a history of selling Kustom into the independent dealer market so this is an ideal fit to allow a greater reach into the marketplace. We’re excited to continue working with the D&H team and expect to see the same great results we’ve experienced with our Powerwerks brand.”

Davitt & Hanser general manager Jay Ensminger added, “The Kustom brand makes perfect sense for our sales team, and our retailers. We are continuing to build our portfolio of brands around time tested products that provide value to the retail community and, their customers – the consumer. Davitt & Hanser is positioned to have an incredible rebound year and we can’t wait to prove our willingness and commitment to the retailers that have supported us through the past year’s acquisition and integration growing pains. This is an extremely exciting time.”

Kustom Amplifiers has a rich heritage that began in 1964 during the defining era of Rock n’ Roll in Chanute, Kansas. Over the past 40+ years it has been marketed through its unique Tuck-N-Roll image as played by such artists as Johnny Cash and Creedence Clearwater, to the modern yet vintage vibe of their award-winning HV Hybrid amplifiers.
