Positions Available at D’Addario

D’Addario & Company, Inc. is the largest manufacturer and distributor of musical instrument accessories in the world. We are currently looking to hire a Percussion Artist Marketing Manager.

This position will report directly to the Global Director of Artist Relations and be based out of our headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island

In this role, the Artist Marketing Manager (AMM) will help reach our goal of positioning Evans and Promark as maverick brands that offer the most cutting-edge and innovative products to drummers all over the world. The AMM will help create and implement the go-to-market strategy for artist marketing—elevating Evans and Promark through artist engagement across product, marketing, promotions and direct sales to consumers. The AMM be responsible for continuing D’Addario’s legacy of world-class service, while identifying new growth opportunities for both the artists endorsed by these brands and the brands themselves.

The successful candidate will have 5 years’ demonstrated experience working with artists, either directly or indirectly, to successfully develop and execute marketing strategies, increase awareness, build community and create demand. He/she will also have a strong understanding of the Evans and Promark brands and proven ability to drive brand aligned/ artist-first marketing promotions, concepts, activations & media partnerships to generate earned media awareness, buzz and sentiment and demonstrated experience implementing strategic plans, focusing on priorities, KPI’s, ROI and execution.

Additionally, we are currently looking to hire a Promark Product Manager. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island with 15-25% related travel, including scheduled trips to our drumstick manufacturing facility in Houston, TX.

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading the business management of all Promark products.  This person will report directly to our Percussion Business Unit Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Product Management.  He/she will work closely with our Sales Team, Creative Team, Artist Relations, and Manufacturing operations personnel. The position will interact directly with the VP of Global Sales, CEO, CMO, CFAO, President, General Counsel, Director of Operations or other Managers as projects dictate.

The successful candidate will be a passionate drummer/percussionist with deep knowledge of the percussion market. Experience in band and orchestra percussion is a plus. He/she must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Music or Music Business or a related field, five-to-ten years of marketing, product management or sales management experience and be experienced managing teams of at least five professionals.

Lastly, we are currently looking to hire a Director of Percussion. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island.

The Director of Percussion will be responsible for all aspects of the Business Unit (BU), including Operations, Product Management, and Product Development.  This individual will report directly to the President of the corporation and will regularly interact with members of the executive management team including the CEO and Director of Brand, as well as leaders of shared resources such as the VP of Global Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, Artist Relations, HR, IT and Logistics, driving both Operational excellence, market share and commercial growth.  This individual will also be expected to interface with our Director of Product Management to ensure oversight of the D’Addario Percussion brands, are consistent with the entire family of D’Addario brands. 

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Business or a related discipline, have well rounded general management experience, and be willing to travel 25-35% of the time for this role.
