Korg USA, Inc. continues to expand their growing sales team with the hire of Brian Beck, a seasoned musician and sales rep for the role of Central Territory Sales Manager. Beck will manage all new and existing dealer relationships in the central region of the U.S., handle the sales of all brands and work with Marketing to create beneficial B2B promotions.
Prior to working at Korg USA, Inc., Beck managed Main Drag Music, a boutique music store based in Brooklyn, New York known for their wide range of vintage and specialty products. For seven years he handled inventory, merchandising, and artist relations and was also the head buyer as well as main product specialist. Beck has also worked for Manny’s Music as a sales associate and was sales manager at Trash and Vaudeville, Inc. a punk-rock inspired clothing brand based in New York City.
“Brian came to us with over a decade of experience in the music industry, making him the perfect candidate for the Central TSM position,” says Matt Phillips, Director of Sales at Korg USA, Inc. “Not only does Brian have the tools needed to become a successful sales manager, but he is an accomplished musician himself who knows a great deal about our products and the brands we carry. We’re excited to have Brian as part of our team and excited to see what he can do,” Phillips explains.
Beck is a proficient drummer who has traveled internationally and throughout the United States. He has toured with Frankie Rose, Lola Ray and is fluent in multiple genres. Beck also plays guitar and bass and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
