Korg USA, one of the industries longest running and most respected brand owners and distributors in the MI market has expanded its reach beyond the U.S. to now include Mexico and Central America. Gustavo Hurtado has been brought on as Korg USA’s Latin America Sales Manager. Hurtado, based in Mexico City, will be responsible for all Korg, VOX and Spector sales in the various regions in Latin America.

Hurtado spent many years as a key executive at Casa Veerkamp and has been closely involved in the M.I. market in Latin America.

“Having Gustavo contribute his expertise and leading the effort in Latin America is a big win for our customers,” shared Andy Rossi, SVP of Sales and Marketing at Korg USA.  “There has never been a Korg sales manager operating directly from this market and we are excited to have Gustavo be able to support our customers.”

Working with its distribution partners for Korg and VOX in Mexico and Central America as well as having recently acquired and reinvigorated the iconic Spector Bass company globally, Korg USA now conducts business in Canada, the USA, Mexico, Central America and worldwide for Spector.

With strong sales, product and marketing teams, excellent logistics, strong financial expertise and easy proximity to the Latin America market, Korg USA is positioned to better serve its customers in Latin America.

“I can see real growth opportunity for our customers in Latin America,” remarked Hurtado. “Both at NAMM and as I travel the market visiting customers, the response has been fantastic.  Our customers want to work closer with us to create mutually beneficial success and this new arrangement will support that effort.”
